CARLISLE TRI 10K – 2nd June 2021

The 10k route uses mainly quiet country roads. The run will finish directly in front of the racecourse grandstand. This is an officially measure and certified accurate course by the Association of UK Course Measurers. Due to Covid restrictions there will be no water station on the course, you are strongly advised to carry a drinks bottle with you. There will be a water station at the finish for you to collect a bottle of water from. Entries will be available online soon, there will be no entries on the day.

  • Date: 2nd June 2021

  • Location: Carlisle Racecourse, Durdar Road, Carlisle, CA2 4TS.

  • Entry Prices: Non CTC Member without UKA: £16, Non CTC Member with UKA: £14, CTC Member without UKA: £14, CTC Member with UKA: £12.

  • Registration: 17:00 – 18.30 at the registration desk in the main racecourse building. You must wear a facemask while in the racecourse building and keep to the one way system. Once you have registered, please make your way to the start waiting area.

  • Race safety briefing: There will be no race safety briefing on the evening of the event. Your race briefing will be sent to you by email a couple of days before the race and we ask you to read these carefully. You will be notified of any last minute changes by text message. If you have any queries please contact the event director, Heather (contact details below).

  • Race start: To maintain social distancing you will be started in small groups no less than a minute apart. Once you have registered, please make your way to the holding pen in the racecourse grounds, you will be guided from here to the start by our marshals.

  • Parking: Parking will be at the racecourse carpark. Please take care crossing the road to the main racecourse building.

  • Facilities: Toilets are available for use in the main racecourse building however, social distancing must be maintained at all times and you must wear a mask while in the building. There is no baggage drop area, all belongings must be left in your vehicle.

  • Risk assessment: A full course risk assessment will be on display at the event HQ on race day together with details of the liability insurance and RunBritain registration & Course Measurement Permit.

  • Prizes: Results will be available on line and will be updated as the event progresses. Prizes will be posted out to winners after the race. There will be no prize ceremony on the day. Prizes will be awarded for the following (subject to entries):

    1st 2nd 3rd Male/Female Open.
    1st Male / Female 40 – 49.
    1st Male / Female 50 – 59.
    1st Male / Female 60 – 69.
