CARLISLE TRI 10K – Wednesday 5th June 2019

The 10k route uses mainly quiet country roads. There will be a water station at 5km and at the finish. The run will finish directly in front of the racecourse grandstand. This is an officially measured and certified accurate course by the Association of UK Course Measurers. Online Entry Cost £16. Entries will be taken on the day, subject to spaces being available.

  • Date: Wednesday 5th June 2019.

  • Location: Carlisle Racecourse, Durdar Road, Carlisle, CA2 4TS.

  • Registration: 17:30 – 18:30 at the registration desk in the main racecourse building.

  • Race safety briefing: 18:45 – The race briefing is mandatory, during which key safety points will be covered.

  • Race start: 19:00 prompt.

  • Parking: Parking will be at the racecourse carpark. Please take care crossing the road to the main racecourse building.

  • Facilities: Male/Female toilets are available. There will be a kit room for athletes to leave belongings in which will be locked for the duration of the race. Refreshments will be available to purchase from the racecourse bar.

  • Risk assessment: A full course risk assessment will be on display at the event HQ on race day together with details of the liability insurance and RunBritain registration & Course Measurement Permit.

  • Prizes: The prize presentation will occur as soon after the last competitor has finished. Prizes will be awarded for the following (subject to entries):

    1st 2nd 3rd Male/Female Open.
    1st Male / Female 40 – 49.
    1st Male / Female 50 – 59.
    1st Male / Female 60 – 69.
